Position: Cyber Threat Intelligence Consultant
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months contract
Job Description:
Requirements:
Must have 7+ yrs. experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, or Threat Hunting.
1. Must have previous experience overseeing & managing a team and daily operations of the Threat Intelligence team.
2. Must have previous experience establishing/creating & overseeing the Cyber Threat Intelligence lifecycle.
a. Develop a strategic, operational and tactical intelligence capabilities
b. Prioritizing tracking of new threats and analysis of existing threats.
c. Establishing and maintain a feedback loop for all intelligence products to ensure continuous improvement.
3. Should be very familiar with products /tech Stack that could include: (how many have you worked with?)
a. Recorded Future
b. ThreatQ
c. Cybersixgils
d. Anomali
4. Work with operational teams to provide actionable intelligence to help drive new threat hunts, detection, and support the incident response team.
a. Experience in analyzing highly-complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
b. Ability to distill complex problems into manageable tasks and then drive those tasks to completion.
5. Generate executive level briefing material, in-depth written products, and simple to complex graphics to convey analysis both verbally and in writing for key stakeholders
Prepare, facilitate, document, and actively participate in client meetings and workshops
Create high quality presentations and reports to effectively communicate project findings
Security certifications highly desired (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CCSK, AWS Security, Azure Security, etc.)
7. Experience tracking adversary trends and motives to drive strategic security improvements.
8. Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence frameworks.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication.
10. Ability to communicate effectively to a technical and non-technical audience.
