Based on their feedback, the person needs to be strong in both MongoDB and MySQL. Even though Oracle is considered a plus, they don't want to see that as their main database experience. It's still a 6 month contract-to-hire. It's still 100% remote. The candidate must be USC or GC

MongoDB database administration experience (7-8 years) with production administration experience in a high availability 24x7environment within a multi-site environment
o MongoDB administration, design & deployments
o Advise with MongoDB HA strategies, includingreplica sets and sharding
o Maintain MongoDB databases DB/objects
o MongoDB performance management, and scaling –including query tuning and working with development teams to address issues
o MongoDB security management
o Kubernetes Operator Percona Server for MongoDB
o Experience with MongoDB Replication
o Experience with Percona Cloud-Native AutonomousDatabase Initiative
o Experience with Percona Operator for MongoDB
Solid experience supporting MySQL databases
o Replication and cloning design and solutions
o Experience with group replication and InnoDBCluster highly desired
Database Administration Experience (MongoDB andMySQL)
o Database system and application tuning
o Database upgrades and migrations
o Database performance tuning
o Backup design and disaster recovery plans andexecution
Good familiarity with Linux
Positives:
