Job Summary:
SAP EHANA Consultant is a technical expert of data reporting from the SAP Enterprise HANA systems.
The development work includes data injection, data modeling and Tableau report for CF Group Reporting and finance reports project.
The developer delivers technical design document, data model and reports according to specifications that meet end-users' requirements.
The daily work can be direct delivery work, solution design or peer review.
This position reports to the IT business process manager and will work closely with the business system architecture.
Job Responsibilities:
Transform functional design and functional specification into technical design and technical specification.
Develop SAP Enterprise HANA models use SQL procedural language using HANA 1.x(XS Classic) & 2.x(XSA), provide universal model for one domain, e.g. consolidation reports, non-consolidation finance reports, operational expense reports and static key figure reports
Responsible for leading adherence to architectural principles and SAP HANA modeling techniques using various modeling tools like WEB IDE & HANA Studio
Conduct GIT setup and versioning management of HANA 2.x design code
Responsible for SAP HANA modeling using various Calculation Views/dimensions and SQL Scripting, utilizing the advanced features like table functions
Develop HANA 2.x security privileges and handle complex security scenarios for the views of HANA 1.x
Develop data integration on multiple data integration tools (including ETL and data replication tools), multiple relational databases, dimensional databases, database performance tuning, SAP LT Replication Server (SLT) and BODS
Translating Functional Specifications into Technical Specifications
Provide Advice on Enterprise Data Warehouse and Reporting Strategy
Working with Visualization tools such as Analysis for Office and Tableau.
Conduct unit testing for data model and reports.
Support peer development work and business report development.
Internal Controls:
Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.
Successful incumbents will have:
Experience in SAP Enterprise HANA modeling use SQL procedural language using HANA 1.x(XS Classic) & 2.x(XSA)
Detailed understanding of HANA XSA architecture and usage of classic schema tables.
Knowledgeable in HANA Application Lifecycle management (HALM) and HANA 2.x objects transport management
Experience or knowledge of GIT setup and versioning management of HANA 2.x design code
Knowledgeable in HANA 2.x security privileges and have an experience on complex security scenarios for the views of HANA 1.
